Hi Bluesky,

Ho Hin is facing a similar problem, he has a Theater Musical Dance Performance at HKAPA on Jan 3rd, and his exam starts on Jan 4th, and won't finsh till Jan 14th; he also has competition in between.  Not good timing at all.  Hence, he spends few hours everyday preparing the exams during this X'Mas holidays.  But, I still encourage him to participate both the competition and the musical dance performance.

Hope your son and Ho Hin can survive in their exams.

It is a matter of time management . Hope they can both manage to join the competition and take the exam at the same time.

如果小朋友好想打這場比賽, 但是眼見父母只顧及自己的學業而忽略自己的興趣, 小朋友是否會盡力考好這個試 (e.g. 我見過有些小朋友是會和自己的父母鬥氣的）個人意見...

我都覺得學業緊要過比賽. 但臨急抱佛腳有用? 讀書是靠平時溫習的, 臨考試前一日, 我主張輕鬆, 玩玩, 成績會仲好. 所以如果許可, 打下比賽, 感受下, 都好呀.
