Taksim is relatively heavy (90gm +), and I have two.  It is good for close-to-table fast attach for hard-hitters for stability while the face is too hard to drive top spin.
I think originally it was designed as a Chinese blade for one-sided rubber more than 10 years ago. With 2-sided rubbers, I find it too heavy. Now there is a new version Taksim X, larger face and lighter, but I still prefer my Innerforce ZLC CS, which has excellent balance of weight, bounce and touch.

Yes, agree, depends on the player and is relatively heavy (95gm) compared to other blades I have (between 75gm to 85gm).
