''Neither of the restaurants we went to was expensive.'' 唔用 was 用 were 都得。

好難呀!

''Both my parents are from Michigan.'' 用 Both of my parents 都得。

的確兩者都正確。singular 用法一般用於 formal english, 而 plural 用法一般用於 informal english
要學好英文唯有多聽多講多用
