16强對台灣。上次世乒赛輸，主要是因為台灣的一單拿了2分，再加上帖亞娜失準。今次奧運不同了。台灣的三號是兩隊中最弱，第三場雙打和第五場單打失分機會很高。香港只要在第一、二或四場保一分;基本上入8年强。
入到8强，很可能對德國。相比中國、日本、新加坡及北韓好打多了。同樣，德國的三号(直板單面正膠)是兩隊中最弱。只是在其它場次保一分，入四强。可是，要小心德國一號鍏莹，她是一名梢球手。
