Windows 8 vs Windows 10

Windows 8 出了没有幾年，Windows 10 下月底推出讓Windows 8現有用户free upgrade.請教壇友中的IT高人是否值得下載取代Windows 8? 其中一個concern是可能有些non-Microsoft applications,e.g. Open Office,未有同步更新版本以致不是100% compatible. 其實Microsoft最成功的OS好像還是XP。我去年中才因為要上Windows 8被逼换機. BTW, where is Windows 9?

現在己可以免費由W8.1 升級至W10,
但我仍會觀望多一點時間，以免發生預期不到的
程式問題而後悔過早成為白老鼠!!!

Thanks for all. I am also a bit hesitant moving up to Win 10 now, but not sure if free upgrade to Win 10 will still be offered later. As a matter of fact, if Win 10 is to be launched just a couple of years after Win 8, Microsoft should not have stopped support for XP in order to push XP users to Win 8!!!
