A successful visit to Guangzhou in southern China for the ITTF World Hopes Team concluded on Monday 15th August 2011, the visit starting on Thursday 28th July and encompassing the Nikon Hong Kong Junior and Cadet Open.
The visit to Asia over, Europe was the next stop on the itinerary with five selected players attending the Liebherr Masters College in the German town of Ochsenhausen, an ITTF Hot Spot Training Centre where Leo Amizic is the Head Coach.
A three day programme was organised with Dejan Papic, the Head Coach for the ITTF World Hopes Team and Leo Amizic directing proceedings.
Euro Mini-Championships
Certainly the visit proved most worthwhile and now it is time to put what has been learned into practice.
On Tuesday 23rd August 2011 the group travelled to the French town of Schiltigheim to take part in a two day preparation camp with the French Under 12 Team.
Following the Training Camp, the group will participate in the Euro Mini Championships, now a firmly established stop on the ITTF World Hopes Team annual calendar.
