Bad Luck? Do you mean HK vs Japn in Quarter-Final.

HK lost to North Korea and become the 2nd comers of the group.
While Japan won all competitors in the group, inlcuding Sourth Korea.

As HK was the 2nd of the group, it would meet the 1st comers of other groups, (China, Singapore or Japan).
